This course was built on rolling hills, so expect many uneven lies. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first, a 478-yard, par 5, featuring a stream that crosses the fairway in front of the well-bunkered green. The fairways are narrow and sand bunkers protect almost every hole.

Very Nice Course, Apr 09, 2008

I played towards the start of the season, but i was surprised that the course was in such good shape. The pro shop and the staff where very nice including the starter who was out and about on the course seeing how you where doing. They have a nice driving range so you can hit a bucket before you go out. There are some really challenging holes which one is a reachable par 4. All in all it was a very nice course and not to bad on your wallet.

Beautiful course with many hidden greens. This course is well maintained but at times does go flat with back to back straight par 3 and 4 holes (no hidden greens - straight shots). Staff is exceptionally nice and accomodating.

Wynstone Golf Club
"Employee"
Wynstone is situated on a topographically diverse landscape, unbecoming of many Chicagoland golf venues. It has abundant wildlife which adds to the course's balance between a parkland and wetland. Wynstone also offers a unique challenge for any golfer. Not only is the golf course difficult at 7,000+ yards, but also presents a challenge to any comers at 6,500. Both birdies and bogies are easily found throughout the track. Finally, the course is maintained hard and fast. Fairways and greens are firm which requires and rewards shotmaking.

Wyckoff Country Club
"Quick eighteen"
This course is short, but what it may lack in length it makes up with difficulty along the course. Fast greens and sloping fairways provide players with challenges every time out. Throw in some wind and you are playing some real good golf if you can break eighty from the back tees on this Par 69 course. Fun course with good people in the Pro Shop make this course a great place to play.

This is a sweet course, and the driver rarely comes out of the bag so you have to play smart, because there is trouble everywhere. Goodluck and keep it in the short stuff!

Round Meadow Country Club
"Round Meadow Challenge"
Round Meadow is a challenging course with sloped greens, lots of water hazards and hillside fairways. First time players on the course will probably hate it. However, once you've played it and if you go back again, you will find it an entertaining course with lots of challenges.
