awful experience, Sep 22, 2008

Worst ever experience on golf courses around. awful putting green with lots of small sand dots; No grass here and there on the fairway. Even worse, one service guy was rude and mean, shouting at us even when we just hit the first shot off tee. Shout at a later group too. Never never come back!

Tight and tough, Jun 22, 2008

I play this course often....senior citizen residents can play for $12 through the week, a GREAT bargain. The course plays very tight with an abundance of trees. The narrow fairways - well maintained by the way - make scoring difficult. Although a short par 70, the layout prevents outhitting the course. Mostly all elevated greens makes iron play a premium. Very tough to get up and down off the side or back of the greens.

the comparison of this course to other courses is like comparing a local CC to Pebble Beach. My school team plays here and its not even good to practice it. Your swing here is completely different then any other course because of it conditions.... DONT EVER COME HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT....

Pests, Do, they have them here too?, Aug 22, 2007

Crowded Saturday play. Starter could not seem to get his act together. Finally teed off after waiting 1/2 hour and then waited at least 10 minutes on every tee afterward. 5 1/2 hour round! Greens are mushy and inconsistant as well as having weeds on the fringes. Fairways are beaten up. Rough is too high. Ranger was bothering US when the slow play was from the foursomes ahead of us! Water coolers not maintained. Got chased of the parking lot by some groundskeepers with rakes and shovels. Never coming back

You get what you pay for on this course. People don't really keep pace and often play 2 or 3 balls with others right behind them. The workers at this course are nothing to brag about either. A good practice course though, especially if you are new to golf.

I play this course on a weekly basis, and have shot my best scores here! Service is fantastic and the greens extraordinarily maintained. By far my favorite course in NJ.
