This hilly course plays longer than the yardage indicates, and locals say that the main hazards are behind the greens. Water hazards come into play on two holes. All the fairways are lined with trees and a multiple cut of rough, and the greens are slightly sloped. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 5th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. This championship course hosted the U.S. Open during the 1930s.

Donald Ross Design at Public Rates, Feb 08, 2004

Triggs is a good course, a tough layout from the back tees. Donald Ross designed Muni gets a lot of play and is a little rough around the edges, but a great test of golf. Played there for years before I relocated South.

"Longest Corse I've Ever Walked"
The Creekview Golf Corse is an amazing golf corse . It's long and it's tough. And it also requires an extreme amount of skill. I recently had a tournament there in the fall of 2003 and believe me the extra money for the cart is worth it if you have to carry your own clubs.

"Not bad, for what it is..."
Anchor Golf Land is an 18-hole par-3 with an attached driving range, minature golf course, and a special practice area for lessons. There is also a well-equipped golf shop and snack area. If you are looking for a serious golf... this is not the place. If you are looking for a place to exercise, practice a few shots, or have fun with beginners... this place is great! it's conveniently located, priced right, and the people are friendly. The course is kept in reasonably good condition -- considering the low "greens fees" -- but there is a wildlife problem with goose droppings and woodchucks.
