This scenic course offers a variety of well-designed holes. The front nine is short and hilly, while the back nine is flat and lengthy. The fairways vary from open to narrow, and the large greens are sloped and easy to three putt. In addition, water hazards (ponds) come into play on five holes. The signature hole is #17, a 385-yard, par 5, featuring a peninsula green. The Greenside Restaurant is located on the premises. It not only offers a fine selection of delectable food, but banquet facilities for larger events. Furthermore, while you dine, enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Ontario.

Nice Course for seniors and families, Aug 09, 2005

The Pines is a nice, straight-forward 18-hole course with tree-lined fairways that features changes in elevation from tee to green. Greens are average-size with some undulation. It's a what you see is what you get course, although there are a few holes wherein you can't see the green from the tee. Designed for fast play with its openness; ideal for those over age 50, as well as for families, along with those skilled players looking to practice with their irons.

Meadows Golf Club
"Challenging for public"
This is one of the best, and most challenging, public courses in the Denver metro area. The only downfall for the Meadows is the pace of play during the weekends. Overall, the Meadows is a must play.

Quarry, The
"Golf Heaven"
This wonderful Tom Fazio design offers a truly great experience. It can only be played with a member. Don't worry about a starting time or slow play, the members are rare. I've been told that if you can find a weed in any fairway, they will give you a membership! ($175,000/player plus dues) Every hole has it's own personality and most (10) involve water. A desert design that requires accuracy off the tee, and a back nine into an old quarry up in the mountains, the course is very challenging, but has incredible views of Indio (All putts break that way.) Chances are that you won't get the opportunity to play this track, but if you do, don't miss it!
