The hills and valleys allow this course to drain readily.The signature hole is #9, a 349-yard, par 4, requiring a long tee shot over water to a narrow fairway, and an approach over water to the green.

The course is an exceptional value until you get to the club house and experience the charm of the owners; here it becomes five stars. Hilly is an understatement for this pleasant tract and I enjoyed myself immensely.

Someone looking for the ultimate golf course would never consider this location but having said that, I had a blast playing the course. A rural country course that is well maintained and managed by a great bunch of people. I believe the owner of the course is from Louisiana and obviously his wife is. As soon as she begins to speak you can tell she was raised on the bayous. Very inexpensive which lends to its exceptional value. I would return just to meet with the owners again

"The best course I've ever played."
This course is wonderful. I have a summertime home up on Drummond Island, and I play the rock every chance I get. It's just great, it captures the wonderful essence of the Island in a golf course. It's just a great place to be. You feel so alive, in the early summer morning being on this course. Plus the golf aspect is also great. It's a bit of a challenge, but when you're at the rock, you love the challenge. I guarantee, that unless you play the courses on the PGA tour, that the rock will be the best golf experience of your life.
