This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. All the courses are narrow and tree lined. There are many sand bunkers throughout these courses. The greens are large, undulating, and maintained at average speeds. The terrain is mostly flat, but Mt. Rainier comes into play on a couple of holes. This facility's signature hole is #4 an the Green Course, a 547-yard, par 5, which goes straight up the side of Mount Rainier.

| Generally the course is in fair shape, certainly not the type of course you would expect for the price. That only makes the fact that the guy working the pro shop and the ranger seem very unhappy to be on the job and they take it out on the patrons. Very poor service. I live about a mile away from the course and will never go back. |

| It is what it is a public course with fees under $25. That being said it's the driest course you can play in winter without spending alot of $. The driving range/practice area does suck, but if you're looking for a challenging usually fast round of golf you'll find it here. The course is not long from white tees but it's still all most can handle with every hole being cut out of the forest. Beware, there are rocks in the soil in the tree line. I play this course on a regular basis and find it to be fun and challenging. A low handicappers perspective. |

Overpriced, poorly maintained, and inconistent course manage, Aug 30, 2009 |

| Been playing this course regularly for three years. ONLY because it's the closest, most convenient course to my house. It is undoubtedly one of the worst courses I've ever played on and is highly overpriced. To start with it is poorly maintained, especially the debris covered greens (bring your own broom to this course). Also, the driving range has extremely inadequate nets (way too short)so you better have GPS on your golf ball for whole 9 of the gold course, and whole 1 of the green course, because range balls litter the fairways. Unless you are a par golfer, this course will cost you a sleeve of balls at minimum, due to the tall grass in the trees separating the fairways. Lastly, course management is very inconsistent. If you come during the week during the day, you are bound to have nicely regulated tee times, but if you play twighlight, be prepared to take 3 hours just plalying 9 holes, becuase they don't seem to care about how crowded it gets, as long as the money is rolling in. Oh yeah, no refunds, and no rainchecks. So, if you get to the second tee box and find that there are 2 foursome's waiting ahead of you, it's just tuff luck. One has to wonder if the problems with this course are due to the impending development of it. Trust me, this course is no loss to the community as it is. Shame though, because it does have tremendous potential to be at least a 4 star course. |

| This course isn't anything to write home about....extremely THIN fairways that are borderd by the thickest blanket of trees is not a fun day of golf. Have fun loosing money from your wallet and a few handfull of balls if you shoot the rough. This course is banking on there view on mnt. Raineer on every other 5 holes.....Driving range sucks too. Real short and net serves no purpose being only 30 feet tall. |

| Reasonable green fees Blue course - Don't play off of the fair way. River rock abounds & you will have difficulty knowing which way your ball went. Play the water hole wisely and carefully stick to the fairway. This 9 hole segment can be is a lot of fun. Gold & green courses - these two play differently than the Blue. The rough seems to grab the club making the usuall ball flight short. Be aggressive when laying up out of the rough & make sure probability is high in reaching the layup area. |

Name of course, Feb 03, 2008 |

| In response to Jeff, who stated that the word "Lipoma" has no alternate meaning than a fatty tumor: in fact, the course is named for the family that built it. Yes, that is really the family name. |

| I don't golf anymore and have never played this course, but does no one know that a lipoma is a benign tumor comprised of fatty cells? Look it up in the dictionary. It's a medical term. It doesn't have an alternate meaning. Five stars to whoever built and named this course, for pulling a pretty funny joke. Maybe they'll call their next course Epididymus Woods. |
