This is kind of a tricky course because of the blind shots from the tee boxes. There is one pond that comes into play on holes #1 and #18. The course is cut out of a wooded area. The course opens up at 11 AM on Mondays. Tee times are reserved only for the weekends and are taken on the prior Thursday and Friday.

Pristine conditions. What one would expect at a private country club. Very hilly course .Yardage plays longer than indicated. Keep it on the short stuff. Thick Rye/Bluegrass rough is penal. Poa Annua/Bentgrass greens putt fast and true. Typical Donald Ross course. Enjoy!

Glens Falls CC is blessed to have had the good fortune to be built on a natural sand bar that provides excellent drainage, allowing cart use immediately after a 2inch rainfall. The rolling hills and greens coupled with the views of the Adirondacks and Green Mountains of Vermont make playing this course a true delight. One will never tire of playing this gem.

"Worth the trip"
This course is easily the best course I have played. It's on a par with Blackwolf Run and the other Kohler courses at a fraction of the price. This course has a spectacular setting. It winds up and around Iron Mountain, and is a marvel of course design. Despite the elevation changes, only one hole plays uphill. The holes are cut out of the mountain side and winding cart paths take you to the next level, and hole, until you reach numbers 9 and 17, both of which play straight downhill (as does 18, a 600 yard par five with 3 terraced fairways). The grooming is immaculate and each hole is separated from the others by woods or water. Even on a busy day it feels like you're the only golfers on the course. The staff is friendly and efficient and the course is nicely rangered. As you play the course, you will marvel both at the quality of the experience and the incredible engineering required during construction. Rates have been in the $50-60 range for the past several years and its the best golf bargain you can find. This is a course you could play every day and it would remain interesting. The fairways and greens compare with any PGA site. This is one not to miss.

"Golf at your own pace in LA on a Sunday morning"
I had a wonderful time golfing on this course, the practice facility is not much to write home about but the course and the service was awesome, we were a threesome and got around the course in under 5 hours, we tee'd off at 8:30a and were done by 1:00p, we actually had time to re put the greens several times after every hole and we only waited twice the entire morning, it was wonderful, we are not the greatest golfers either, we were all in the 90's. It was just a pleasure to go to a course and be treated so nice and have such a fun round of golf, thanks.
