Furnace Brook, great course if you like hills, Sep 29, 2004

This course is well maintained, and features some of the best kept and fastest greens around. This course is very hilly and that is the only setback. 6 of the holes are blind greens from the tee box. 2 of the 6 are doglegs. This course also is famous for holding the record for the longest hole in one for a woman. She hit the ace on the par-4 1st which plays about 330 yards from the womans tees. I do enjoy this course and it is a great course to play for the amount of money. I play this course everyday, Monday through Friday, and I love every round I play.

"Tight and Challenging"
This course is a above average golfers dream. Length and contour is a premium. Tree lined fairways, you'd think you're in the Lincoln Tunnel.You need to play smart to score well. The below average golf will have ample oppurtunities to score well on the par 5's and the par 3's. The par 4's ,lets leave those for the big boys. In all, it is good for everyone, at a reasonable price, on a country club setting on a New England landscape.

Quarry, The
"Golf Heaven"
This wonderful Tom Fazio design offers a truly great experience. It can only be played with a member. Don't worry about a starting time or slow play, the members are rare. I've been told that if you can find a weed in any fairway, they will give you a membership! ($175,000/player plus dues) Every hole has it's own personality and most (10) involve water. A desert design that requires accuracy off the tee, and a back nine into an old quarry up in the mountains, the course is very challenging, but has incredible views of Indio (All putts break that way.) Chances are that you won't get the opportunity to play this track, but if you do, don't miss it!

This Course is the best manicured course I have ever played. Green are very difficult to putt on. Never a straight putt.
