This is a Scottish-style links course. It was built on flat terrain and is loaded with a wide variety of sand bunkers. There is water that comes into play on one hole. The signature hole is #7, a 436-yard, par 4, requiring shots down a fairway, which sits alongside the bay. This club has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It was also given recognition by "GOLF Magazine" in their 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." Stephen Kay redesigned two holes in 1987.
