This course has some well-placed dogleg fairways and bunkers in the landing areas. The greens are fast and the fairways have some hills that can affect your lies. Water hazards (three lakes) come into play on three holes.

"The Trails is fantastic."
Nice layout with beautiful trees and, save a few holes, away from it all. Challenging drive course, approaches are easier. Nice size greens.

"Must Play"
This golf course has an excellent layout and is a must play in the Detroit area. The greens, fairways, and tees were all in good shape and I believe they had four or five sets of tees to choose from for all different skill levels. The bag drop, shop staff, professionals, bartenders, waitresses, rangers, and starters were all extremely curtious and helpful. I really felt like I was a member at this club. For $70 on a weekend I was a little afraid I wouldn't get my money worth. Now I make about an hour trip a few times a month to play the course.

"Nice layout"
We actually got lost going to an outing and got directions to this course. Our first time in the Boston area. Nice views on some of the tees. At our age it is too hilly to walk. Overall the conditions were good for a public course.

Querbes Park Golf Course
"Fun course... worth playing at least once"
It's a decent course. For the price, it's very good. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars. $14 is cheap for 18 holes of golf. Many of the greens are strangely small. Too small in some cases. Although, since many holes are very short, the small greens make them harder, which is good. No real bunkers. There are some strange dug up pits with sand in them, but they look like an afterthought. I wish they did the bunkers correctly, or just completely left them out. There are a few very fun holes on back-9. I recommend playing the course at least once. I did play the course during winter so the greens weren't too great, but it's understandale in February. I will definately play there more in the spring when conditions will be better. Especially being a college student, I'm all for the price.
