This picturesque course is situated on the bluffs above the ocean. Many holes feature scenic ocean views. The terrain is hilly, so you can expect some uneven lies. Additionally, the large greens are always well manicured. The signature hole is #15, a 437-yard, par 4, featuring the Pacific Ocean and Santa Catalina Island in the background. The 5,738-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 67.0 and a slope of 118.

| Good, challenging course with unbeatable views (mostly the back 9) for the price. Best value I have found in the Los Angeles area. Not crowded during the week, good variance in hole design and very good greens. A real gem. |

| Despite the truth in the other reviews this is a definite MUST PLAY. No better value in SoCal. Tough track but fair. Bring your A game |

Tee times at Los Verdes Golf Course, May 28, 2005 |

| Don't waste your time getting up early on a Saturday morning to make a tee time for the following Saturday. Their starter takes incoming phone calls while people are actually there to make tee times for the following Saturday. How retarded is that. Their starter should take care of the people that are actually there first before taking phone calls. My recommendations, don't waste your time with them. |

| I love this course! You're right by the Pacific ocean... the cost is less than other courses that do not provide such scenic play. My "must play" course when i'm So.California. |

Nice Course, Poorly Managed, Dec 10, 2004 |

| Great location with views of Catalina Island and Pacific Ocean. Next to impossible to contact the starter via Telephone, expect busy signals that can last all day and inconsiderate people when you do get through. Best to drive to he course 1 week in advance and get on the clip board to secure a time, get there before 3AM. They also play 5-somes so play can get VERY slow anytime after Noon. Fairly flexible in finding room for single walk-ons if you get there before 7am. |

Too many duffers......., Dec 08, 2004 |

| Too many poor players made this a terrible experience for my group. The price is nice, but unless you get out to the course before 10:00 you have absolutely no chance of finishing your round. 5 hours would be a blessing!! The fairways were rough and the greens were not all that great. There are views of the ocean, but that's just because you are so high you are bound to see it. Spend the extra money and play a real course. |

Nice muni, Jun 20, 2004 |

| Great views of the Pacific Ocean on several holes. Difficult to get starting times and play is usually very slow (4.5 to 5 hr round). But for a muni, its a great deal. |
