The course, built on the Palos Verde Peninsula, is situated just yards from the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean. This magnificent design provides majestic views of the Pacific and Catalina Island from every hole. Small, undulating greens and narrow, rolling fairways make for an incredibly challenging round of golf. Every effort was made to seamlessly integrate this course into the natural habitat, and the result is an aesthetic and technical masterpiece. Evidence of this is found on hole #1, a 314-yard, par 4. After contending with treacherous crosswinds off the tee and navigating deep-lipped sand bunkers, you are confronted by a heavily-contoured green that will put your putting skills to the test. This course hosts the Michael Douglas & Friends annual televised tournament. The 33,000-square foot clubhouse, built in classic early California style, offers an expansive golf shop, locker rooms, an executive conference room, a gourmet restaurant, grill, bar, and meeting and banquet facilities for 300 guests.
