This course is always busy because it has 550 regular members. There are water hazards that come into play at least two times on the course, and there are many mature trees that can alter your shots. Non members may play the course on Wednesday and Thursday with a club member being present, or as the guest of a member on any other day of the week.

San Gabriel Country Club
"Beautiful and challenging old-style course"
This a beautiful, scenic golf course which will challenge every golfer, regardless of handicap. The maturity of this course, which includes huge oak trees and large shade trees, gives the impression of walking in a park, with the added enjoyment of playing golf. Even though the length of the course is short by modern standards, that is where the challenge lies. Drives must be accurate, and pitch shots precise. The greens are deceptive and fast, and are well-bunkered. The clubhouse is very well-planned, with great views of the course from the men's lounge and dining room areas. The men's locker room has been remodeled, and I guarantee that Luis, the locker room chief, will never forget your name. He is a wonder. One golfing visit to this club will make you wish you could live in the area so that you could apply for membership -- it is a memorable golfing experience.

Clayton Park Golf Course
"Local Hidden Gem"
This is a fine local course for working on your irons. Even as a (60 year old) senior, I seldom use more than a 5 wood here. No sand, and water barely comes into play on one hole. Drastic elevation changes on the par 3 second and third holes. Course is wide open and wind can sometimes be a factor. Great for sharpening your skills before taking on regulation courses or for a pleasant 2 to 3 hours outdoors.

The scenic course was amazing. The greens were in perfect condition and the cart paths were clean and well kept. THE BEST COURSE IN MICHIGAN!!!

Green Knoll Golf Course
"good course"
Green knoll is a challenging golf course for any advid golfer. Although after rain it tends to fill with mud and water it is a very nice gold course. This course just might be a little too much for first time golfers. The staff at Green Knoll do have the tendancy to be well lets say not very nice, or inviting.
