Little Creek Golf Course: The Little for your money course, May 17, 2009
reviewer: Anonymous from Van Buren, AR. USA
Even with a nice and appropriate course layout the feeling of serenity that comes with this country setting is easily forgot once you get into the thick of your round. Improper irrigation leads to many problems not only with playing your lie, but also in finding your ball(ground so wet, not able to mow, which leads to long fairway grass and an overall wet approach to sands. Though many bright spots such as two hidden water hazards on a 140 yard par three makes even the most experianced player lose a ball. Though the highlight of the course is number 9, which begs to try and and clear trees that block the view of the green, but the smart play is to lay up and get on in three.

Golfable Golf Quote of the Day:
" The fundamental problem with golf is that every so often, no matter how lacking you may be in the essential virtues required of a steady player, the odds are that one day you will hit the ball straight, hard, and out of sight. This is the essential frustration of this excruciating sport. For when you've done it once, you make the fundamental error of asking yourself why you can't do this all the time. The answer to this question is simple: the first time was a fluke. -Colin Bowles "
