This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. This is a very scenic and fine facility. The courses were built on rolling terrain and are surrounded by many tall pine trees nourished by a winding branch of the Clinton River. The large greens are undulating and medium to fast in speed. The Red Course's signature hole is #9, a par 5, requiring a tee shot up a slight dogleg right fairway, where the golfer is then tempted to try for the double-tiered green rather than lay-up in front of the water. Riding carts are mandatory when playing eighteen holes and are included in the green fees.

| I haven't played here in about a year and a half or so, but this is one of my favorite places to play. The Red and the Blue courses have a couple of elevated tees and some very tricky holes, both short and long. The fairways are always in good shape and greens are average. For those who don't want to face the crowds, try the nine-hole Gold course across the road late on a Saturday or Sunday. The biggest drawback of this course is the price. While it is a very nice and well-kept course, it's high end money for normal courses. You shouldn't have to pay $46 during the week just to play 18 there, that's ridiculous. But if you have the money, it's a good place. |
