Not as good as the first guy said, May 24, 2010

First, the water is no longer there on hole 1. Hole 7 is now a par three. With that said, over all this is a great course for the beginner/ inter. player. The people that operate the course are very nice. The course can use a little TLC and is in the process of being fixed up. I wish they would bring back the sand traps and water. This made the course a little more challenging.

golf at raymondville g&cc, is truly an unforgettable experience. the greens are well watered and the bent grass is excellent.there are many challenging holes., the first tee to green is a whopping par 5.with water about 180 yds left.towering trees protect right side, so u must hit a high drive to clear trees. then u have decent chance to get a birdie.7,8 and 9 are long long drives. clubhouse is fantastic

After having played this course, I can only say, it is not boring. Holes run all directions. Course is well maintained, and well run. The people are very friendly, and treated me well beyond my expectations. I would move here tomorrow.

"Great challenge for your game"
This course is a challenging course for the average player up to the scratch professionals. The fairways are tight and lined with sparse pine trees. The course is an old style course, which means it has incredibly small greens. The greens are probably to most true rolling greens in the state of New Mexico due to being so old. The course is short and very opportune for low scores. I really enjoyed playing this course and the people around the club. They treat you well and the rates are EXTREMELY cheap for such a quality course. I suggest taking the trip up to Los Alamos to have a great round of golf and also to enjoy the sights of the Jemez Mountains.

Wow! What a fun place to play a great round of golf! You have no choice but to play a good short game, if not you'll be hitting other golfers in the head! Really, it's nicely maintained and you got some good old-fashioned folks willing to help in the clubhouse. Fun, challenging course. Just wear a helmet if you're playing with some big swingers!
