This facility has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The Meadowview Course was added in 1996, and it features modern designs consisting of large, elevated greens and tees. Half the holes are cut of the trees, and a few others are links-style. A large lake comes into play on three holes. The Hillside and Whispering Pines Course's have typical designs reminiscent of the '50s and '60s. They have small greens, bunkers and tee boxes on a partly flat, partly hilly course. Water comes into play on three holes on the Hillside Course and none on the Whispering Pines Course. The course's do not open until 1 PM on Monday.

All 3 nines have a really nice layout. Good fairways and playable for all handicap levels. Greens are tricky to read. The new nine, Meadowview, have slow greens but they are consistent.

"Best of Ohio"
Sand Ridge is one of the best golf courses in the country. Even though greens are not all that fast they are always in perfect condition at all times of the year and the fairways are some of the best i have ever played from. "Real Golf"
This is a true golf course. Accuracy and distance is at a premium. There are no easy holes and you cant "run it up" to any of the greens. It is also a fair course. The greens neef to be a little faster and the traps need more sand but the layout is as good as anywhere in town...public or private.

"Better accurate than long"
Not a lot of distance required here, but you had better be accurate - both off the tee and on the approach. Beautiful setting inclduing occasional glimpses of the Ohio River; well maintained; friendly staff; beautiful clubhouse with excellent food. A real value.

Found the course to be good iron work out. Plenty of laterial water (typical for So FL) very informal play and service, not particullary friendly. Very wet in summer or during average rains
