Phone: (302)227-3131Fax: (302)226-3131

This course is located next to Rehobath Bay. Golfers should be prepared to use all the clubs in their bag by the end of the day. Water hazards (three ponds and a stream) come into play on seven holes. The signature hole is #2, a 431-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a narrow tree-lined fairway, then an approach shot to a green that is guarded by a large sand bunker on the right. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 5th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996.

The course has improved in maintenance recently. The greens are slow to average speed, but the condition of them right now is excellent. Some have been redone from scratch. The course is an older design with smailler greens than the more modern ones. It is an interesting course that often requires great accuracy with trees and water. In fall the fairways are kept free of leaves by blowing the leaves away with a large blower on a cart. The setting is gorgeous. The prices are excellent, especially M-Th. In fall and winter the twilight rate is all day. A card allows the golfer to get a free round after paying for five. There is no expiration to this card. Thus in the fall a golfer can walk anytime M-Th for $25, but factoring in the card after 5 rounds drops this to an average of $20.

It is obvious that they are trying to improve the condition of this golf course. They have rebuilt some of their greens and are continuing to take an agressive attitude towards fixing some drainage problems. Also the food in the restaurant is surpassed by few.
