Worth it just for the cafe, Aug 17, 2004

This is not a particularly long course, but it has some fun holes. It is fairly open, so hitting it offline might get you in trouble but it won't ruin your day. It runs alongside an airport (don't know which, I'm not a local) and a couple holes have the airport property running down the left side as OB. Overall, it's well worth the price. The only real negative I can think of is there are no tee time reservations and no starter, so the first tee is a little jumbled with everyone standing around trying to remember who was there first. And make the time to have a burger at the diner at the clubhouse. It's worth the trip all by itself.

Brookside, Jun 08, 2004

Brookside is not the best course in the world, but it is a great practice course you can hit every club in your bag and it is easy on the wallet. You can play all month for $70,thats hard to beat. Plus some of the hillbillies and the guys who think they are pro are entertaining

This is the first course I ever played on. It still gives me trouble. It is a nice walk on a beautiful Reno day.
