| If you have or every have had a desire to play on a course that is a classic rural course built in the late 20's, this one is a classic. The trees and creek that come into play make this course. The fairways and greens are always well manicured. It is not a long course but poor shots will find you with trees to contend with or openings to greens not readily available. It is a very fun course to play. You just know there is a lot of history in those old trees and that creek of days gone by Club Championships. Some subtle changes have been made over the past few years. Most memorable and for the better is the repositioning of the tee box on the par 3 hole 17. It has opened up a better line to the green that the old tee box did not afford. Well done CCCC, I will be back to play your course again. |

Small town course, great course, Sep 03, 2007 |

| If you find yourself in the Rensselaer area with nothing to do, I would recommend taking time to play 18 at Curtis Creek. It is the best course in the area without traveling an hour. It is always in great condition, and presents a decent challenge for the price and small town location. |

| This course is very well maintained. Not a long course but subtly challenging. Lots of old growth trees with Curtis Creek meandering throughout the course. |

Diamond in the rough., Jun 19, 2005 |

| As a former Indiana resident, I've been lucky enough to play this course a number of times and have yet to find a rural course that even comes close. The majority of the holes are tree lined and a creek does come in to play on nearly half the holes. But the quality of the grounds coupled with the challenging yet playable layout are what sets this course apart from other courses in the area. It's location near a major interstate should make it even more apealing to out of town/state visitors. Having played all types of courses all over the country, I look forward to the day when I can make it back to this diamond in the rough. |
