This narrow course has tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. There are no water hazards, but the terrain is rolling, so you can expect some uneven lies. Alfred H. Tull has done redesigns on this course.

I went here a few years ago and had a fabulous time. Not only is the golf course great, but so is the staff. I had the pleasure of being served hors d'oeuvres by 3 beautiful young women who really gave this country club some flare and young spirit, sadly I went back recently and they aren't working there anymore. My only suggestion for this establishment is keep up the good work and bring back those great girls, especially the brunette and the blonde

I had the pleasure to play Silver Spring as a guest recently. What a treat! The course is in gorgeous condition. The tree lined front nine requires you to keep the ball in play. The back nine opens up (a little) and lengthens out. If you are new to the course, expect your share of three putts. The greens are fast, undulating and true. It's hard to imagine such a challenging course has no water. It doesn't need any water to be a great test of all your shots. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a great little club tucked right around the corner from a lot of the bigger/pricier Fairfield County clubs.

A beautiful course, in great condition. The fairways are tight and treed lined. Par 5's are tough.

I have played a total of 4 rounds as a guest at Silver Spring. This classic and traditional course is well-maintained with speedy greens that can have you on your knees in a hurry. Wonderful course to walk, even for those of us more inclined to ride. Beautiful woodland setting where deer seem to enjoy free range, even on the greens! (Hoof prints don't make for straight putts) Staff was courteous and friendly despite the blue blood atmosphere. Nice joint.
