This fairly flat course has tree-lined fairways and water hazards that come into play on many holes. All the greens are elevated and well bunkered. Hole #6 is the toughest hole on the course. It is a 407-yard, par 4, requiring a straight shot off the tee to split two bunkers in the fairway. John LaFoy redesigned this course in 1985. Guests must either be accompanied by a member or the member must call ahead for their guest to play this course.

Don�t let this course fool you! If you play it from the blue tees it is a formidable challenge. There are some holes with tee shots that require a 200 yard carry over water (some days into the wind!) As well as a 190 yard plus par three with ponds and rivers all around it. The greens are nice and the grounds crew really works hard at keeping them that way. There are some narrow fairways guarded by 100 year old oak trees all the way down to the green on each side. It really plays more like a 126 slope and I believe it is rated incorrectly. Bring your straightest drives here.

"Great course for the aveage golfer"
This is a first rate facility for any golfer. A great putting green and practice area. The course is an intersting yet very playable for the average golfer and a challange from the tips for the better player. Good tee shots are a must. You can get into trouble with an errant tee shot on some of the holes. The greens are interesting. Some are multi layered and were in great condition the last time I played there.

this course is not well managed, greens are often brown and the grass is dead. the position next to the forest gives dear flies opportunities to feast, and the carts are mediocre at best.

"Very nice course... and cheap too."
This course is a great find. It is great golf for the price. This course is better than a lot of courses four times the cost. For a round of 9 w/ cart we pay $10 pp. This is the cost no matter when you go. For $20 you can golf 18 w/ cart and lunch. The front nine is a beautiful par 3, and the back nine is challenging.
