This resort is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains at an elevation 3,000 feet above sea level. This extremely scenic course was built on hilly terrain and features large trees that can alter shots. The signature hole is #15, a 344-yard, par 4, because it features an eighty-mile panoramic view overlooking the beautiful mountains. There are numerous elevation changes from the tee boxes to the greens, so you can expect many uneven lies.

| I have played this course about 10 times and each time I play I am more awed by the view and the course. Not only is the view of the mountains and the terrain spectacular but we have seen wild turkeys and deer everytime. We were on our tee box last week and a baby deer (doe to the educated) was standing right there beside us! The views are awesome in the fall. The course is hilly but very playable and the greens and fairways are always in great shape. Everyone should play this course at least once for the beauty, the view and the protected wildlife. |

| I have played this course during the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons and it has always been in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Some players complain about the uneven lies and tough rough, but the course is very fair. The fairways have generous landing areas and the greens run true and at a medium pace. I have played each set of tees from white back to gold and found the gold tees to be an adequate and not too demanding challenge. The scenery is great - don't worry about your score and enjoy this mountain gem. |
