This course stretches itself over Michigan's plains in a majestic manner. With narrow fairways and fast greens, a perfect shot off the tee is very important. When approaching the greens, a golfer needs to have an accurate short game as well. The friendly appearance of this course can be misleading, however, it is one of the toughest around, according to locals.

Nice links style course, Jun 26, 2006

Played here this past weekend. Loved the course. Great layout. Well maintained fairways and greens. Shot an 82 and felt I played very very well. Nothing fancy about this place, so if you are looking for GPS, nice scorecards, nice clubhouse...you will not find it here. Come for the golf and have fun with the layout

This is by far the best links course I've played in MI. The course is addicting, as I know I can do better my next time out there.

"Great little secret in Central PA"
This is a very hilly course that is not too long. The greens are small and will yield many 3 putts if you are in the wrong spot. There are a lot of risk reward holes to make birdies or double bogeys. With small fast greens and the hilly terain, anything around par is a great score the average player with a 14 handicap should expect to play around 83 golf. Well maintaned golf course, good food and service in the dinning room. The pro shop staff is very professional and accomidating. The best thing is the cheap cart(highly reccomend to take one) and green fees less then $40 a player. This is my second favorite thing to do on a Penn State football weekend, of course the Nittany Lions are the first thing.

"Tight and Challenging"
This course is a above average golfers dream. Length and contour is a premium. Tree lined fairways, you'd think you're in the Lincoln Tunnel.You need to play smart to score well. The below average golf will have ample oppurtunities to score well on the par 5's and the par 3's. The par 4's ,lets leave those for the big boys. In all, it is good for everyone, at a reasonable price, on a country club setting on a New England landscape.

"It's the people"
I love this golf course. I play in a tournament here every year. I always think I'm going to do better but it has these challenges that change my swing. You will find yourself protecting against going out of bounds, water hazards, sand, trees...they have it all. The number 9 eats me up. It's a dogleg right and if you can manage to stay away from the small canyon on the right you still have the challenge getting on the green that you better save an extra stroke for! Be careful if you go over this green....nothing but trouble. The main thing about this course is the people. They treat you like you were the only one playing that day. You will love the scenery also.
