This sporty course offers enough variety of terrain to challenge any level of golfer. Numerous trees and water hazards come into play throughout the course. The signature hole is #11, a 538-yard, par 5, which requires a tee shot from off a bluff over some hills, then an approach shot over a creek to the green.

I did not really care for the course... the layout was not fair. You can hit a good drive and be penalized for it. It is not worth the money you pay. I only gave it 2 stars because it was kept up in pretty good shape. Very, very short par 4's. Several were 325 yards or so.

Egwani is on average a very well kept golf course with enough challenge to keep play interesting. While I prefer a more wooded course (this course does have some wooded holes) the condition of the fairways and greens never disappoint me. The signature hole #11 is always a great hole to hate but I will have to deduct a star because of the "back and forth" feeling that comes from playing on an open field type of course. There are plenty of challenges; sand is well placed and water is a factor on many of the holes. The staff is courteous and driven from meeting you at your car with a cart to serving a cold one at the 19th hole. I would recomend this course to anyone visiting the area.

I flew into the Knoxville area not long ago on business, and spotted this little gem from the air. The parking lot was practically empty when I got there, so I ponied up the $45 green fee and away I went. The lady at the counter made me chuckle when she apologized for the "steep price." I thought it was a very reasonable price compared to what pay at home. Apparently, this is one of the more expensive courses in the area. The whole course was in fine condition. The greens were quick. The place just felt very relaxed and country clubby. The course wasn't especially demanding, but was expertly maintained.
