This well-maintained course was built on rolling terrain and has water hazards coming into play on every hole. Some of the fairways are wide open, but some of them are quite narrow. The greens are average in size and speed. This is a very scenic course located in the countryside. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Scenic Parke County Golf, May 05, 2004 |

| The Parke County Golf Course is an enjoyable course for players of all ability levels. Although the course has only nine greens, alternate tees provide eighteen holes of golf. Some of the holes change from par three to par four or par four to par five when playing the back nine. The fairways are well defined and the greens are some of the best in west-central Indiana. There are many changes in elevation from tee to green and trees line most of the fairways. Two creeks wind through the course and come into play on most every hole. The second hole is 590 yards and has two creeks that come into play. The green sets on top of a hill. The 189 yard par three number three hole is one on the best in Indiana. The finishing hole (par four) requires an approach shot over a creek that sits only a few yards from the edge of green. The golf course is also home to one Parke County's many covered bridges. |

| This is a very well cared for public course with a covered bridge between the first and second fairways, very nice to look at although not very nice when you when your ball hits it!! The rolling hills and the not so obvious creeks make it quite challenging. I would say that it is defintely worth 9 holes of your time. |
