Rolling Greens Golf Course

600 Cold Spring Rd
Rocky Hill, CT 06067
Phone: (860)257-9775

This course was built on rolling terrain. Locals say that every hole has a personality all its own. The signature hole is #6, a 440-yard, par 4, requiring a blind tee shot, then an approach shot to a green protected by a water hazard on the left and pine trees on the right. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on four holes. Some of the greens and tees are elevated. There is an additional men's tee that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. Tee times are only reserved for the weekends.

Green Conditions Great!, Apr 21, 2007
reviewer: Adam Tomasiello from Cromwell, CT
This course continues to amaze me. Although weather conditions have been awful, this course somehow always manages to keep their greens pristine, and are always the best in the area despite cold, rainy, or even dry conditions. The course itself has always been in good condition, but the fairways are difficult to distinct from the rough. However, you can always have an advantage over players who have never played there, because as they say, every hole has a personality of its own and it is a great overall course. The holes are tight, somewhat long, dogleg, reachable, and many other characteristics throught out the entire course. No matter what your specialty or weaknesses are, you can alwayss find some challenge and some enjoyment at this course do to a variety of interesting layouts. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, yet challenging 9 holes of fantastic golf with especially great greens. Always a good pick concerning price and enjoyment.

This course is pretty much a giant dogleg, left or right. The only two holes on the hole course that don't curve right or left are the 2 par 3's! It is pretty challenging if you go from the farther tee offs but it is really fun! The course is in great condition, prices are cheap, and the staff is friendly. It is great for kids and their dads or moms. It only has 1 par 5. It is not too hilly so you can easily walk it. It is only 10 dollars! Well I am only 13 so that is the junior special anyway. The only downside is that it has tight fairways. There are condos on either side of the fairways! You have got to be careful or crack there go's someone's window. Definately go to this course.
