This exclusive course has straightaway, hilly fairways, so you can expect many uneven lies. Water hazards come into play on two holes, and there are numerous well-placed bunkers throughout the course's design. The signature hole is #7, a 140-yard, par 3, featuring a double-tiered green that can be a real challenge to read correctly. "GOLFWEEK" selected it 96th among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" for 1999. most enjoyable course i've played, Apr 28, 2004

It's location just complpiments it's beauty. Seated next to beautiful Lake Delta it is a refreshing cap to a day of boating or can be a prelude to a leisurely stroll around the quiet Lake. Either way you will feel satisfied after playing a round or two at The Big T. I highly recomend this course if you like being able to rip long drives down the fairway, or want to stratigicaly place an 8 iron shot between two welcoming bunkers. An overall well kept fun course. I only have one hole in one to date but i hope to change all that this year.

North Shore Country Club
"Great Bay Side Holes, and Tough"
Play this in the wind and you'll find your handicap is a little too low. Northshore is a wonderful course with great bay views on the 4 bayside holes. And Don't miss the gator on hole 12, the cormorants on number 3, or all the other birds during the migratory months. In winter the rye overseed makes Northshore one of the best courses in all of South Texas.

golf at raymondville g&cc, is truly an unforgettable experience. the greens are well watered and the bent grass is excellent.there are many challenging holes., the first tee to green is a whopping par 5.with water about 180 yds left.towering trees protect right side, so u must hit a high drive to clear trees. then u have decent chance to get a birdie.7,8 and 9 are long long drives. clubhouse is fantastic

Cross Creek Golf Course
"for this area its a great yonug course"
if you have ever golfed in this area you relize that there are 2 types of courses. private corses which are nice but... private and then courses that are a bit run down. well cross creek is the exception it may be young(few trees still coming up) but its lots of fun and well maintained with a good staff and a great time for new or more seasend golfers alike

Brick Landing Plantation
"Tough but Fair"
One of the most brutal couses I have played. Played it in 89 and again in 91 by request on Myrtle Beach gof packages. Only lame hole was #2 at that time.
