This club has three eighteen hole courses to choose from. The Palms Course has generous fairways with large ponds that require long carries. The signature hole is #16, a 521-yard, par 5, where the tee shot plays over water to a dogleg right fairway, then an approach to a three-tiered green is required. The Hills Course is narrow off the tee with lateral hazards coming into play on both sides of the fairways. The small and elevated greens have some undulation. The Cape Haze Links Course has ponds coming into play on seventeen holes. The fairways are wide open, and the greens are tiered, small, and elevated. Walking is permitted on the Cape Haze Course. The Ladies Future Golf Tour was held on the Palms Course in 1988 and 1989.

A FRUSTRATING DAY, Feb 22, 2005

Our experience was disappointing because we had an afternoon tee time for 2:24 but weren't able to tee off till after 3:00pm because the course ran out of golf carts. If you chose to save a few bucks by getting an afternoon discount make sure the course isn't too busy. When we arrived no one got our bags and we found about 20 golfers waiting for carts. They had 80!!! carts on the course. Needless to say we didn't get in 18 holes before 6:30pm when it got dark.

Quarry, The
"Golf Heaven"
This wonderful Tom Fazio design offers a truly great experience. It can only be played with a member. Don't worry about a starting time or slow play, the members are rare. I've been told that if you can find a weed in any fairway, they will give you a membership! ($175,000/player plus dues) Every hole has it's own personality and most (10) involve water. A desert design that requires accuracy off the tee, and a back nine into an old quarry up in the mountains, the course is very challenging, but has incredible views of Indio (All putts break that way.) Chances are that you won't get the opportunity to play this track, but if you do, don't miss it!

Much better than Fort Smith Country Club. The Fairways are great and the greens are wonderful. All for the front nine. The back nine is brand new. It is much more challenging but needs to grow in a little.
