This course has well-manicured fairways and greens. The large greens are fast and slightly sloped. Even though there aren't any water hazards on the course, it plays difficult because of all the trees that can alter your shots. For juniors who want a discount on green fees, they may join the junior golf club offered through the pro shop.

Allegheny Country Club
"Love It!"
Allegheny offers a very private, and enjoyable experience. The course is rarely busy, and offers a real challenge with the short stick. Many of the holes are a bit short, but if you can't putt, you will not score well. The ground are kept in immaculate condition, and the scenery, especially on the back nine, is breathtaking.

I have played this coarse for the past fifteen years and have seen a lot of good changes. The fairways are in much better shape than in past years. The water hazards are clean and a challenge to the average golfer.The greens are in excellent shape. The only thing that is missing are sand traps. For someone just learning the game and wants to have fun, this is the place.

"Good Course at a fair price,"
The course is decent in upkeep, not the greatest greens but a nice and challenging course at times with greens protected by bunkers in touch positions. Course management is a little on the off side, they have no control over how many are on the course, and will load it up way past capacity, as well as never using any marshalling to speed up play. Weekdays are good times to play because of the lessened Traffic
