The terrain on this course is very hilly. This course has medium-sized, elevated greens and narrow fairways that are lined with pine trees. Two of the fairways on this course are doglegs. There is a beautiful lake that comes into play on two holes, including #9, a 155-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over the lake. There are additional sets of tees for those playing an eighteen hole round.

"If you get the chance to play..."
great course requiring the use of all clubs in the bag. most holes are quite challenging,at least for this (15) handicapper. most holes require keeping it in the fairway, or it's trouble. water comes into play on a few holes. blind tee shot on 18 can be a killer. don't pass up the opportunity to play! finally, being from out of town was made easier by the friendly staff.

Cabin Brook Golf Course
"Canbin Brook is a fair golf course"
I have playd Cabin Brook many times growing up in the central Kentucky region. The fairways are wide enough for most beginners and the terrain only comes into play on a couple of holes. With the rolling hills, it is a good place to learn how to adjust your shots in your stance. The price, sometimes, can be a bit much but, it is worth it for the casual duffer.

Deep Cliff Golf Course
"DEEP CLIFF TIGHT AND DEMANDING"
Deep Cliff is a short but demanding little layout. It has a great set of par 3 holes ranging from 106 to 199 yards. The par 4's are all interesting and have a good amount of trouble to be found. It is a real risk for reward course. I would advise playing from the blue discs for a true test. If you play from the "daily set" tee boxes you are not being challenged.

"Good ol' boys golf..."
This is actually a pretty fun 9 hole course. Fairways are a bit thick most of the time...you can loose a ball off the tee box. Greens are usually pretty nice. Inexpensive. Very seldom is there a wait. Very low key kind of golf course. That can be pretty nice at times.
