This course is very hilly and fairways are tree lined. The first nine holes were redesigned in 1990 by Gerald and Lanny McPherson. There are water hazards that come into play on a couple holes. There is always a teaching pro on the premises.

The greens at Rolling Hills are very difficult. There is a LOT of break in all of them and the hole locations can really add to your score. Be careful to read ALL of the breaks on the greens.
