This course's fairways are fairly open, and the greens are medium-sized and fast. Water hazards (lakes) come into play in several areas. Since pioneer Arthur Fenn designed the first six holes over 100 years ago, Manny Francis, Geoff Cornish and Bill Robinson have taken turns completing redesigns and additions. In 1995, this club hosted the men's State Amateur Tournament.

Splendid. The way the course is manicured trom tee to green is most impressive. I've played here 7 times since my review over 4 years ago, and this club gets better each time!

This was a remarkable course, only Pine Valley, Augusta and Pebble are better. I shot a 74. The greens were smooth and fast. Staff were true professionals. A must-see!

A true gem on NH's mid-coast. Conditions were of tournament-grade. I will return, despite living 5 hours south.

"Great Private Course - Gem in CNY"
If you have a reciprocal with this course, you should take advantage. It's well maintained, with narrow fairways, and challenging greens. You need to have your iron game, because your second shot into most greens is critical. A bail out will cost you a stroke, as almost all holes have sand bunkers guarding the greens. Good fun for the ave golfer and player alike. A real Must Play.

"Pretty Good Par 3"
This is a good course to tune up your short irons. It's pretty well maintained (the tees are mats however). Most holes are about 130 yards or so with a pond coming into play on a couple holes. There are no sand traps, but there is a stream that runs through the course as well as many trees. It's a good course to play after work, with your family, or when you don't want to play a full golf course.

Don't usually take the time to do this sort of thing,(leave comments), -BUT, this club is really nice! I can't believe there isn't a crowd waitin to get thru the gate! - VERY PLEASANT COURSE! And REASONABLE FEES! I'll tell my friends back here they need to come to Hauppauge! - VERY NICE TIME! Try it, folks!
