Truly half a full course - not a "pitch n putt" - Land Park has some nice holes. Fairly open with no real water hazards except for a lake to the left of the fairway on 4 that would be pretty hard to plunk a ball in. The greens and fairways are typically in good shape, though they have been intermittently in disrepair. The weekends can be hectic, as this course is in a public park. Expect people crossing the fairways, duffers, loud music, picnicers, etc. on the weekends. Overall, a great excuse to take off from the office early... |
