This facility offers one eighteen hole course and one nine hole course. The eighteen hole course has little hills in play on its fairways. The greens are sloped. The course does not have any sand bunkers, but it does have three ponds coming into play on several holes. The Nine Hole Course is hilly and long and the fairways are wide open. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

Although not a long course, there is plenty of challenge in these 18 holes. The layout is excellent and the staff is friendly. It's not overly expensive, either. Unfortunately, it will soon be turned into another subdivision.

Glen Garden Golf & Country Club
"History"
Glen Garden is a great place for Golfers of all ages. Playing on the course, it is easy to see how it produced such greats as Hogan and Nelson. They have the classic postage stamp greens. You must be accurate with your approach shot or you will miss the green. It is a great course for beginners as there are relatively few holes where a bad shot will lose your ball. The pace of play is very relaxed and the course staff are over the top friendly. The only down side to Glen Garden is that when it was built it was out in the country (1912?). In the 1950's Fort Worth grew and houses went up all around the course. Unfortunately these houses we small wooden houses and over the years it has become the bad side of town. There have been huge efforts by the local population over the last ten years to clean things up but it will take time. I highly recommend a visit to Glen Garden for any golfer. If you have an interest in history you will find it fantastic to consider you are walking on holy grounds.

"A great fun course with a fun group of members"
Found this course a real enjoyment to play. The greens are fairly fast and challenging. Course was not overly difficult to walk. The layout was good. The back nine (9) has two par 5's back to back that will separate the 'men from the boys'. I played several days in a row and was accepted by the Men's club like a member. Looking forward to playing this course again this summer. Don't let its apperance fool you. This course is not flat..Play good course management.

I grew up playing this course......I live in Florida now, but it was and remains a great place to play golf. It's not the TPC, but it is a fun and challenging course.
