This course's somewhat-sloped greens are small and hard to read. Even though the fairways are tree lined, the landing areas are still mighty generous. Water hazards come into play on a couple of holes because the course is bordered by the Pine River.

Poverty Hills memories, Apr 01, 2008

First played in 1952...1st round ever. Last played Sept '08 and had "a ball"! Grass was better than I expected and cutting included 2 rough cuts and fine aprons. Wonderful FUN track for everyone, especially beginners and juniors...some critical shots and the par 3's stand out. LFF!
