This course, situated on top of a mountain, has great views of the countryside. All the fairways are extremely hilly, and the back nine fairways are more narrow than the front nine. The greens are fairly flat, but some are elevated. Geoffrey Cornish remodeled the course in 1993.

This is a gorgeous course set into the rolling hills of Vermont. The front nine is the original course, its fairly open in general but has some long challenging par-threes. The Back nine is more of a links style course that requires shot placement. A lot of times the better move is to lay up. Overall, beautiful greens, and plush Fairways. A great deal for a course of this quality.

Perry Golf & Country Club
"Best kept secret in central Iowa"
With rolling hills and mature trees, Perry G&CC is an aesthetically pleasing, yet challenging course. A beautiful pond surrounded by wildflowers is in play on the # 2 and 3 holes. Greens are in fine shape and medium fast. Accuracy off the tee is important because of the trees and some uneven lies. Although it is a private club, green fees for non-residents are easily accessible and very affordable. Carts available. The clubhouse staff is friendly and accommodating. Well worth your time and money.

Springfield Golf Club
"Dakota's Pebble Beach"
One would hardly expect to find a gem like the Springfield Golf Club in this rural setting in an agricultural state such as South Dakota. This course demands your best game with keeping the ball in the fairway a premium. Although not a long course, the long hitter does not have a major advantage. Tree-lined fairways are expertly maintained and the greens are challenging. All of this quality golf is accompanied by some of the most beautiful scenery in the state. The course is built on bluffs overlooking Lewis and Clark Lake and the view from every tee is extraordinary. This wonderful nine hole golf course has earned the right to be called Dakota's Pebble Beach.

Twin Lakes Reserve & Golf Club
"Challenging par 3 course"
My index was a 10 when I played this course in March 2003 and it kicked my butt. You're shooting up to greens sometimes and down other times and most of the time there isn't much room for error as I learned by losing a couple of balls by mis-clubbing. I played the course twice around to get in a full 18 and ended up 13 over by the end. It was fun and more than I expected from a course this size. My only gripe would be that the greens were not as smooth as they could have been. It's cheap and you can play it quick in 1.5 hours. Give it a shot!!

River Valley Golf Course
"For the price one heck of a deal"
Much better than Fort Smith Country Club. The Fairways are great and the greens are wonderful. All for the front nine. The back nine is brand new. It is much more challenging but needs to grow in a little.
