This course, which is located adjacent to a harbor, has large greens that are fast and true. The fairways are tree lined and have many out-of-bounds areas. There are many water hazards that come into play on this course. The S & H Classic was hosted by this club in 1988. Bill Dietsch was the first to redesign the course, followed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay in 1990.

This course is now fairly well maintained. Not so in the recent past. I have played it 20+ times in the last 2 years. It’s as good now as I have ever seen it.
