| The golf course is nice, but the environment was not so friendly. The other golfers were rude, yelling "hit it already!" when we were standing to tee off, other's cursed at us (she later apologized saying that she'd been having an "irritable moment" because she'd lost her "smokes" and was "fiending" for her cigarettes), an employee came out to tell us that they were receiving complaints because we were too slow (even though at that particular moment --as with most of the entire course--- there were no other golfers anywhere around us), we explained that one of our friends was a beginner and that we were trying to help her along so that it was slowing us down abit, but that we let anyone who needed to play through do so... and while eating lunch after our ninth hole, the "manager" told us that we were being rude for being too slow (we explained again that we had a beginner with us and that we had let everyone who came near us to play through). This golf course needs to respect ALL of it's paying customers... even the beginners. We were out to have a nice game of golf, not being loud or rowdy, just trying to play the game, enjoy ourselves, and have a nice day. Instead we left feeling ridiculed & abused. Thanks Brookside. Maybe we should've just left our friend at home... or went to a different golf course altogether. |

Great Course for Beginners, Jun 12, 2007 |

| My husband and I like this course, as we usually only have time to golf 9 on a weeknight. They've got great specials after 6pm. It's great for beginners (like me) and my husband likes that it's not crowded at night, which makes for a relaxing 9 holes. Very friendly, helpful staff too! |

| Brian, I remember when you moved to Saline, and you were not 7. More like 15. Even so, the course is terrible. However, for a terrible course, it does have an interesting routing for beginners. For anyone less than a 20 handicap, I would warn you to not play this course sober. |

Just Alright, but expensive, Jun 05, 2005 |

| I had heard some favorable things about this course, and had also heard they had good rates, so I decided to check it out. To my dismay, for 9 holes of golf with a cart it was 36.50 on a weekend, which wouldn't be bad, if it was a nice course. We got out on the course, and the tee boxes were in rough shape, and the fairways and cart paths were just plain bumpy. Honestly, I think my lawn looked better kept than this course. I wouldn't recommend it. There are many other courses in the area that are MUCH nicer and in the same price range. |

| I started playing on this course two years ago. Ive been playing on a Monday night league since then. It is a very decent course that is challenging at times and at others provide for a relaxing game. Relative to others in the area at the same price, it is the best. It is very visually appealing since is has existed there for ages. The staff make you feel like family! Worth a stop if you are looking for a good game at a good price. |

Total pasture, Jun 18, 2004 |

| I started playing on the course when I was 7. Take my word for it, it is terrible. Back and forth fairways, every hole is drivable, and it will take you 5 hours. The quality of the grass is about the worst I have ever played. Every fairway seems to be laid over quicksand with air bubbles that pop up when you take a step. Sometimes the pins are missing and there are tire tracks on the greens. |
