This course requires shot accuracy due to its narrow fairways and well-protected greens. The greens are in excellent condition, but difficult to read with their changing degrees of undulation and fast speed. In addition, water hazards come into play on several holes. A challenging hole is #5, a 515-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot to a green protected by two small ponds in the front and sand bunkers on either side. Every hole has at least one greenside bunker. The signature hole is #18, a 557-yard, par 5, where the wind is always in the golfer's face. There is a slight dogleg fairway that bends to the right. There is water on the right side of the fairway, an out of bounds on the left and a creek that crosses fifty feet in front of the green.
