This facility offers a regulation eighteen hole course and a nine hole executive course. These courses feature the 1930's traditional design. In the 1960's, the Lucky International Tournament was held on the Harding Course. Jack Fleming redesigned the Harding Course in 1934. The Fleming Course has fairly level greens that are moderate speed. Both courses have fairways that are primarily flat and tree lined. A lake surrounds both the courses, but it does not come into play. Because this club was designed so long ago, it has qualities similar to some of the best private courses around.

| I played this course and thought it was pretty good. The conditions are superb for a public course. The prices are also very low for what you are getting. Before playing I heard so much about how the layout of the course was its best feature. I think in this aspect it was a little over-rated. Howvever, there were some nice, challenging holes, especially during the back nine. The greens were nice and extrememly hard. Trying the land a mid to long iron the greens took precise control. Overall this course is a must play while in the San Francisco area. |
