This beautiful course is well maintained. The front nine is flat and open, while the hilly back nine is situated in a valley. Water hazards come into play several times. One of the most spectacular holes is #10, a 516-yard, par 5, requiring a shot from off an elevated tee up a dogleg left fairway with woods lining the left side. Robert Muir Graves redesigned the course in 1989, followed by Robin Nelson and Randy Wright in 1991.

Sinking Valley Country Club
"Beautiful"
This is a beautiful course especially in the fall. The holes are surrounded by mountains as it sits in a beautiful valley. The course is kept in great shape and the holes are all playable for advanced to novice players. In general this is 18 holes of great golf.

Shandin Hills Golf Club
"Competent, courteous, prompt service"
I live in the South Bay (by LAX), and would rather drive out to Riverside or San Bernardino to play a four hour round than stay local and get tortured for 5 1/2-6 hours. Shadin Hills is a fun course, but more importantly, the staff is fast, friendly & courteous. Some of the other dog tracks I've been to lately have surly, imcompetent starters that never seem to be on time. Good Job!

Mallard Pointe Golf Course (The Magnolia Trace) - Championship Course
"Formidable - Challenging - Beautiful"
I think for a woman, this is a medium difficulty course. The rolling terrain does tend to help with distance, and most of the fairways are well banked to help keep you in the middle. However, for the serious slice or hook, there's nothing but trouble! My favorite holes are the 9th and 18th with their disappearing fairways eaten out by the lake. You must carry them to hit the greens. It's do-able in regulation for ladies, but you need to be aware of the hazard. M.L. Duffy

Cedar Knoll Country Club - West/North Course
"A Great Place to Play"
Cedar Knoll is one of the best courses in the Burlinton area. The course layout is phenomenal, the mountain views are fantastic and conditions are always superb. There is not a better value for your dollar either.
