| If you want variety & challenge all in nine holes, this is the course to play. All are laid out nice. Whole course is picturesque & enjoyable to play, but, I would say, not for beginners. Course has good drainage,making it one of the best to play at beginning of season when lots of other courses have standing water and are mushy,Shawnee will be much more playable. But, there is also a down side. In the hot part of summer if the course isn't watered often during dry spells, it gets baked dry & becomes hard to play, because it's just about impossible to take a divot. |

| Shawnee is a very challenging little 9 hole course.The small greens make it a little more difficult than other courses in the area.Hole #3 is by far one of the toughest par 4's in the area.Clubhouse has very good food,along with a view of the 9th green on back patio.Good spot for a cold one,on a warm day! |

| Shawnee is a well rounded 9 hole course tucked in the outskirts of Sanborn, NY. Water hazards, sand traps, dog legged, narrow tree lined fairways, this course has it all. Excellent for beginner or young golfers, Shawnee is great place to practice fundamental skills, while it is still challenging enough to be alot of fun. This course can also be played by a foursome in about 2-3 hours, makeing it great for an after work golf outing. |
