This tree-lined course was built on rolling terrain and offers a wide variety of beautiful scenery. The small greens are slightly sloped, and the fairways are narrow. Water hazards come into play on a couple of holes, and there are many well-positioned sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is #14, a 600-yard, par 5. A. W. Tillinghast designed the back nine, which was added during the 1920's, and Robert Trent Jones (1961), Frank Duane (1964) and Stephen Kay (1987) have since done redesigns. Guests must be accompanied by a member in order to play this course.
