This mature course has many trees lining its fairways, but the landing areas are wide open. Water hazards (creeks and ponds) come into play throughout the course. The greens are mostly flat, however they are well bunkered and sometimes hard to read. Desmond Muirhead, Harry and David Rainville, and Ron Fream have each done redesigns on the course. The 5,795-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 73.6 and a slope of 127.
