This course is very hilly, so expect many uneven lies in the tree-lined fairways. Numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design, and the fast greens are difficult to read. Water hazards come into play on a few holes. Green fees indicated are for unaccompanied guests. Members and their guests may walk the course.

| I grew up playing MCC. The main criticism of the track has always been that you never get a flat lie, which is often enough true, but a weak criticism nonetheless. When typically fast the greens are challenging (hint: everything breaks toward the ocean); on #13, if you don't keep it below the hole, any putt you don't sink will wind up all the way at the bottom. The course favors a longer driver, and offers plenty of challenge and opportunity for creativity. And you can't beat the view of the Pacific. |
