This club annually hosts the Otto Graham Sport's Legend golf tournament. The course's fairways are narrow and tree lined, and the greens are small and undulating. The signature hole is #18, a 361-yard, par 4, requiring a player to carry both the tee and approach shots over water hazards. The green fee rates are discounted from noon until 2:30 PM and again after 2:30 PM. You may walk the course only after 1:30 PM.

Whispering Oaks Golf & Country Club
"OUTSTANDING VALUE"
Played it many times. Expansive layout, well manicured, nice greens. A little dry at times, but thats the neighborhood. Recent updates such as massive waste-bunkers installed in various locations make it attractive, looks expensive. A very fun course to play. Better than 2 or 3 other courses in the area. Water holes are a challenge and beautifully presented. But don't tell anybody, I like the course to myself. Going back Feb 3rd to the 13th 2004.

Soboba Springs Royal Vista Golf Course
"oddly challenging"
This is one of the hidden gems in Southern California. I live in the Palm Springs area and yet I travel the sixty miles to play this course on a fairly regular basis. The low green fees tell the tale about the course condition. It is not the awesomely green, delicately manicured track you get here in the desert, but the natural beauty and interesting design make it much more fun than the bulldozed beasts you see around here. Playing from the black tees will give the vast majority of players all the challenge they will want. You'll use about every club in your bag and scratch your head when you bogey that hole that looks so easy to birdie. If you ever travel to the Hemet area, give this course a go, you won't regret it.

Auburn Golf Course
"Challenging, but you won't break your clubs..."
Fun course to play on. It is long, but walkable. I would recommend it and it is very reasonable. 18 holes usually takes 3 hours or so for me.
