This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The Oak Course and the Pine Course have similar designs. The fairways are tree lined and narrow, and the greens are small and medium speed. The Palm Course has larger greens and more open fairways than the other courses. Water hazards (lakes, creeks, streams, and canals) come into play on all three courses. The most difficult hole is #1 on the Oak Course, a 363-yard, par 4, requiring at least a 250-yard tee shot to see the green, then an approach shot to a small green that is well bunkered. During the off-season, a junior discount is available after noon.

Great Layout, Sep 03, 2005

27 holes with wildlife! Never knew what a foxsquirrel was until I asked the Proshop staff. They are abundant on the Palm Course. Only few homes seen from the course made it great. Lots of water hazard on the oak course.

"better then advertized"
I live in kansas city mo. i have played your course 3 times i have a brother that lives on your course. im a part ime semi pro golfer .What i mean by that is i pick a few tournaments a year to play.I will also be playing your couse this week im picking my brother up to go to houston.i have played over a 150 courses people under rates yours.The course is like two different courses front nine are like alot of midwest courses flat and wide.back nine a lot harder nine going at greens you cant see.lot of easy par three.What im mean again easy for pars not so easy for birdies.Again i like your course i beleive its comperable to over fifty of the courses i have played.Your green fee prices are as cheap as i have seen all across the nation.I will recommend your course to all the golfers i know.Thanks again for the hard work look forwarwed to playing there this week.

Woodstock Country Club is one of the tightest and toughest courses in the area. Considering the very small and ungulating green and the tight tree lined fairways. It has many rolling hills and uphill/downhill lies.

Pinewood Country Club
"My Day with Golf"
To my suprise, this very superb golf course is keep secret by the members. The feeling is like being in a quaint village and knowing I had the course to tame. None the less I was the one who was tamed. Afterward I was able to sooth my wounds and pride in the lounge. I disclosed my attempt to shoot my most fun round with the pro and a few members who listened intently. They knew each fairway, bunker and tree. As I talked, I could see in their eyes how they have tried and failed to beat the course. There too was the happy look in their faces, that look I realized I could not have. They were going to play tomorrow and maybe tame the course. I didn't plan on playing Pinewood. It was suggested when the other courses couldn't accomodate us. But I will plan better and next time I will play Pinewood two maybe three of my three days I'm in this, God's hidden spot.

Grandview Golf Course
"best for beginers"
If you are looking to start out golfing this is the place. Or if you just want to putt around here is where you go. Inexpensive and easy, I loved learning to golf here. No pushy people behind you....no country club fees!!! I recommend it for family and beginners.
