This club has three outstanding eighteen hole courses. The Groves Course is an executive course with par 3's, 4's and one par 5. This is a target course with narrow fairways, and the greens are undulating with many severe breaks. The Highlands Course has water that comes into play on seventy percent of the course and is very well bunkered. The course requires shots through trees and over many other hazards. In 1994, many of the greens on The Highlands Course were redesigned and refurbished and sand bunkers. The Meadows Course is long with numerous water hazards. The fairways are tight and tree lined, and the greens are large and fast. The signature hole on the Meadows Course is #7, a 151-yard, par 3, requiring a shot over water to a bunkered green with trees on the left side. Wind is also a factor on this hole. Patrick Mulligan and Rod Robinson designed nine new holes on the Meadows and Highlands courses a few years after Frank Duane had finished the original nines.

Wynstone Golf Club

Wynstone is situated on a topographically diverse landscape, unbecoming of many Chicagoland golf venues. It has abundant wildlife which adds to the course's balance between a parkland and wetland. Wynstone also offers a unique challenge for any golfer. Not only is the golf course difficult at 7,000+ yards, but also presents a challenge to any comers at 6,500. Both birdies and bogies are easily found throughout the track. Finally, the course is maintained hard and fast. Fairways and greens are firm which requires and rewards shotmaking.

Fort Cherry Golf Club

When golf is mentioned around the area of McDonald/Midway/Pittsburgh and it's surrounding areas, most people think of Quicksilver. I urge everyone to play Fort Cherry Golf Club. The staff there treats you like real true people, and are there to serve you. Their gentle courtesey helped me to feel comfortable, even before i stepped forth on the golf course. The course itself is always in beautiful shape. IPrices are right; play is magnificant. I recommend Fort Cherry to all vistors and friends that I know are comming to the area.
