These are military courses where the green fees vary according to rank and class. This facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The Leilehua Course is ranked as the second best military course in the nation. The Leilehua Course has narrow fairways which are tree lined, and there are greenside bunkers on every hole. The signature hole is #4, a 425-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee box with out-of-bounds stakes lining the left and trees on the right of the fairway. The Kalakaua Course was built on flat terrain and has Coconut trees lining its fairways. The greens are medium in size and speed. Since each course has a different address, we suggest you call ahead before attempting to visit this facility.

| The Leilehua course, recently renovated, is the best course in all the military services, anywhere in the world. It is amazing with its ultradwarf greens, full cart path system and low price. I have played on every great course that the military owns including The Eisenhower in Colorado Springs, the Bayonet at Ft. Ord, from Japan to England and there is no better design or conditions than the Army's leilehua course in Hawaii. The staff is pleasant, the surroundings are unlike any other in hawaii, and the DOG (Director of Golf), who is a great player in his own right, played a couple of holes with us and gave us some great lessons. |

| If you are military, this is an excellent choice for golfing Hawaii style. Beautiful views and course is always in great shape. Be ware that the course is up in the mountains, so if it is the course does get wet at times. Great experience though. |
